Which coolant the 2027 Nissan Kicks takes
The factory coolant is Genuine Nissan Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant (blue). Mixing coolant types can cause sludge and corrosion, so top up with the same product, or drain and refill completely when you switch.

2027 carries over from 2026: Nissan USA Newsroom (2026-08-13) describes the 2027 Kicks as a carryover of the 2026 model. The EPA lists no new engine for 2027. Capacities are carried from the same-generation source data - confirm in your 2027 owner's manual.
What a coolant change costs
At roughly 2 gallons of capacity, the coolant itself is about $30 to $60. A shop charges $70 to $120 for a drain and fill, or $100 to $250 for a full flush. Use the specification the manufacturer lists - mixing coolant chemistries is what turns a cheap service into a water-pump job.
