while driving my 2013 jeep grand cherokee the driver's seat headrest just exploded and caused me to run off the road and was very dangerous. It felt like something large hit my seat back from behind. what do i do? If this safe?

Brought my vehicle to a local shop for a new start issue. After investigation, Recall V62 was claimed by Hoover Jeep but the external relay was never added to my vehicle. I believe they claimed this recall but never performed the work. I had to pay out of pocket to have the proper repairs made.
